“Czech-German cross-border cooperation in healthcare” conference

WP5 of the FLASH project, that deals with patient mobility within multi-level systems, e.g. between European member states, was presented to political representatives and other local stakeholders at a conference “Česko-německé přeshraniční spolupráci v oblasti zdravotnictví” (Czech-German cross-border cooperation in healthcare) organized in Karlovy Vary on November 13,2023.

The presentation shed light on the issues and triggered subsequent plenary discussions, both plenary and in teams. The audience were introduced to the goals both of the Work Package and the project. The participants have been invited to collaborate with the project on ambulatory cross border provision since the project deals with inpatient cross-border provision exclusively. Political support is vital for the success of further efforts, thus presentations at events with political representation are crucial.
