The National Agency for Regional Health Services (AGENAS) is a noneconomic public body of national importance. AGENAS ensures its technical-operational collaboration with the Italian Regions and individual health care companies in the organizational, management, economic, financial and accounting areas, in terms of effectiveness of health care interventions, as well as quality, safety and humanization of care.

AGENAS will primarily focus on the study of the the resilience of financing models for hospital care.
