Vilnius University is the oldest and largest Lithuanian higher education institution; it is an active participant in international scientific and academic activities.

Vilnius University will work on the assessment of  the resilience of health care systems, but it will be focused more on the study of the relationship between alternative characteristics of financing mechanisms and unmet health needs or health and income distribution.
